Sharing Deportation Stories

This event creates a space for honest and unfiltered conversations with individuals who have experienced deportation firsthand. Through their personal stories, deportees will share the challenges, injustices, and realities they faced before, during, and after deportation.

This interactive workshop invites deported individuals and their allies to share, craft, and amplify their personal stories through immersive storytelling techniques. Participants will learn how to express their experiences through spoken word, writing, and digital storytelling.

A hands-on workshop designed to equip participants with tools and techniques for effective advocacy in immigration and human rights. Network with policymakers, academics, and activists to create meaningful change.
